Collage – painting

Acrylic and synthetic enamel on acetate and 90gr. Missionary paper / Dimensions: variable.

The “Stencils B” series understands the stencil not as a tool for generating multiple images, but as a work in itself.

The clipping of each of the layers that compose a image generates a collage where empty and full, absence and presence, play together and support the possibility that not everything is what it seems.

A stencil for hanging on the wall is not a stencil.

The work was originally designed as an installation to later become a series of autonomous works mounted in a box-like frame with glass.
